Step One - Concept Sketch
The first thing we do when we are going to create an icon is to sketch up a concept. with your thoughts and needs, we are going to work hard to provide you with the best solution for your business, by looking at your brand and fitting our knowledge to every icon. Though this sketch is miles away from the final render it saves us time because the client can approve the metaphor before we move further on.
Step two - 3D/Vector Model
We take our time to transform the concept sketch into a 3D or vector model depending on the clients needs. A 3D model has the advantage in that it's easy to change angle and rotation. On the other hand a vector model takes less time to create because you only have to design it for one angle. In this step you will be able to see the process taking shape and form.
Step three - Rendering
This is the most fun step. Sometimes it is done directly in the 3D or vector application but usually the model needs some touch up in Photoshop, like gradients, highlights and shadows. Here is where our artistic skills comes into play. When the icon has that eye-catching look we export it in it's required formats and now you have what you expect 100%!
